From BTFD to FOMO to STFR
Just to clarify: BTFD (Buy The F… Dip), FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), STFR (Sell The F… Rally)
The following chart is a good illustration of investors moods’shifts. The green line is the OBV (on balance volume) indicator and the faded red line is the price of the EWZ ETF (Brazil index MSCI). Volume is a very important indicator. Sometimes price action will impact further volume action and other time, volume action will impact more price action (divergences). What is important is that investors’ mood shifts are always a process which takes time.
